As a reporter, I always loved distilling complex topics for a general audience, especially in the realms of behavioral health,‍ ‍medicine, criminal punishment.

As an editor, I’m passionate about helping writers tease out the most compelling and newsworthy angle for a story. I also have extensive experience providing editorial assistance to academics in public policy, sociology, and economics. I most recently served as Inequality Editor at MarketWatch, where I assigned and edited sensitive stories involving race, gender, and class, and advised on their framing and sourcing.
